Danielle is an ophthalmic assistant by day, and everything else by night! A creator at heart, she can be found writing, knitting, crocheting, beading, scrapbooking, or cardmaking in her spare time. She’s also an avid reader and movie buff, and is head-over-heels in love with her min-pin, Mia. You can see Mia's age tracker at the bottom of the blog!
She finished her first novel after participating in NaNoWriMo in 2004. She knew that It's All About the Shoes would never be appropriate for commercial publication, so she self-published it on Lulu.com in conjunction with the website's special deal for anyone who won NaNo that year. Danielle loved holding a physical copy of her book in her hands so much that she decided to do it again! Since then, she has participated in (and won!) NaNo every year. In 2008, she got even more involved and became a Municipal Liaison. After six attempts, Danielle is pretty sure that in another five or six years, she might end up with something publishable.
Danielle contributes irregularly to Flash Fiction Chronicles and tries her best to blog three days a week. Tune in every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday for a new installment.
