Gimme, Gimme, Gimme

Have I mentioned that I LOVE SingStar?

For Christmas, I got two new SingStar games for the PS2 - Legends and Country.  We broke them in at the New Year's Party, and we had much drunken singing all night.  It was awesome.  Unfortunately, I suck at Country, because my range is just a bit too high, but I love the songs anyways.

Today, I got what may be the best SingStar for my voice - SingStar ABBA!

I go through phases with ABBA.  Sometimes I love them, sometimes I can't stand to hear them at all.  I seem to be in a 'love them' phase at the moment.  However, regardless of how I feel about the group, I know their music, and I can sing their songs.  Tonight, on my first attempt, I got over 8900 points!  Without having heard the song in... months, if not years.  So SingStar ABBA is my new favourite game.  Until I go back and play FFXII again.

My ears are bleeding

I have a Playstation. Technically, it's not mine, it just lives at my place. But I do have games, and those are mostly mine. Among those games are all five editions of SingStar - Rocks, Pop, Amped, 80s and 90s. I love SingStar. Not too long ago, I had a SingStar party, and it was awesome.

Tonight, I had some friends over, and SingStar was discovered. It was not quite so awesome. I think my ears are bleeding, and I'm pretty sure party of my brain ruptured. The puppy howled at one point.

Girls, we need to do SingStar properly again! Tams, if you're reading this, you're included in this 'Girls' bit, because you rocked! The boys... not so much.

Singing with the girls

Tonight rocked! Ashlee, Colby, and Kaitlin (in alphabetical order, so as not to imply any sort of preference!) came over and we played SingStar, and it makes such a difference to have singers playing it! Until Kaitlin killed Colby's dreams, of course. But Colby and I still kicked Ashlee and Kaitlin's butts! We'll definitely have to do it again.

And my puppy was so well-behaved! She didn't bite anyone, and while she peed on the carpet twice, she went outside twice, too, so it was a better day than it has been. I also now have a bottle of "Nature's Miracle," which is supposed to help enzymatically clean her accidents, so she won't keep going in the same spot inside. We'll see how that works out. She also has a new harness, but it's a bit too big, because she keeps gnawing at it, so I'll wait and let her grow into it a bit more. And she has a car harness, so we can go for drives together, but it is also too big. She's still growing, though, so we'll be fine.
