I remember, back when I was a kid, watching Nick at Night on Nickelodeon. I'm sure that I'm not the only 30-something who remembers that. Back then, it was "Donna Reed," "Mr. Ed," "The Patty Duke Show," and other black and white classic shows. My mom knew those shows, and it always made me think that she was really old (sorry Mom!).
Tonight, I turned on the TV, looking for something to watch. I ran across "Friends," which is one of my favorite shows. Then I looked down in the corner of the screen. There was the Nick at Night logo.
Crap.
It's official. I'm old.
Thanks, Nickelodeon. I really didn't need that reminder.

I know exactly what you mean. Of course, in my case, it's usually my kids that remind me that I'm getting old. I suppose, we can always look on the bright side... we're much wiser, you know.

I love Nick at Night and TV Land!!
Getting older happens and it is much better than the alternative.
You have a nice Blog. I have read a few of your posts and enjoyed reading them. What is your secret to getting followers? I have a few and some others who comment from the memes that I post to, and then my family and friends who comment via email. Just can;t seem to pick up new followers. Any Suggestions?
I did the same thing the other day. It really freaked me out to see Friends on Nick at Nite too.
What freaks me out is when I switched to the "oldies" station on the radio in the car and find out that it now plays 70s and 80s music. When I was little, I was jammin to the 50s and 60s...soon, "oldies" will be 90s and 00s! Scary thought!
